... Self Catering Holiday Cottage, Betws-y-Coed.

Situated at the rear of the main Guest House, our delightful converted Coach House is approximately 250 years old. It has been tastefully and completely refurbished in recent years to make it a very cosy and comfortable holiday home (sleeping 4) in all seasons.

The Self Catering Cottage is the ideal location from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park, and the rest of North Wales. The numerous shops, and places to eat in the village of Betws-y-Coed are within walking distance.

The accommodation in the holiday cottage comprises of a lounge with exposed wooden beams and a pot bellied wood burning stove (there is an ample supply of chopped timber available in the log store). Electric storage heaters are fitted throughout the cottage, but the wood stove gives a lovely atmosphere as well as a warm glow! There is a colour TV, video and DVD player and a small quantity of board games, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles etc.

A fully fitted Kitchen, with electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge and filter coffee machine and under sink water heater leads off from the Lounge, and the fully tiled shower room with toilet and vanitory unit lead from the Kitchen. All cutlery, crockery and utensils are provided and a barbecue grill, garden table & chairs & parasol are provided on the Cottage patio during the main summer season.

Up the stairs, (a child safety gate is provided) there are 2 bedrooms. The double room has a "stable door" from which you can watch the birds in the woods or listen to the owls as you lie in bed. The smaller bedroom has full size (6'3" long x 3' wide) pine Bunk Beds. The Cottage provides ideal accommodation for a small family where the children can amuse themselves without you having to worry that they may be disturbing other guests!
